To become a licensed real estate agent in the state of Vermont you will need to:
Get Training
Complete a 40 hour pre-licensing course (estimated cost $550-$600).
The Tests
Take and pass state and national real estate licensing exam.
Partner with Us
Be associated with a Vermont licensed principal/broker’s office
Get Your License
Apply to Vermont Office of Professional Regulation for license.
Post Education
Complete eight hours of post licensing education.
License Renewals
Renewal Deadline
Real estate salesperson licenses must be renewed every even calendar year by May 31.
Continuing Education
Real estate salesperson licensees must complete 16 hours of continuing education during every renewal period.
Mandatory Course
Complete the Vermont Real Estate Commission 4-hour Mandatory course (Note: This course counts towards the 16 hours needed for license renewal)
